Hello Allie, I am sorry I cannot respond in Spanish. Recently, I received 127 letters (in English) from the Thomas Alva Edison, A.C., in Hermosillo and Hillo, Sonora, Mexico. Every letter touched my heart. You must be one of the students? God bless all of you. Fred
PS - Coming soon, thanks to a volunteer teacher, Yes Pa will also be in Spanish, downloadable FOR FREE on the www.YesPa.org website. Wow!!!!!

Dear Mr. Sarkis,
I enjoyed your book tremendously. You're a very inspiring person. What you had to go through as a kid sounds very tough but you came out of it a good man and that's something to be proud of. Well, thank you for finishing your book. Our school enjoyed reading it.

Fred Tuesday, September 30, 2008 12:22 PM
Dear Amy, And I enjoy responses like yours. They energize this 82 year old mind and body to do more to help kids be the best and happiest they can be. Thanks. Fred

Hey Fred! Your book was really good it was a very interesting book. It showed that no one or nothing can stop you from what you dream of. And if you try hard enough very good things will come out if your hard work. Nothing will ever just be handed to you in the real world so don't be disappointed if your life goes down hill just because you expect everything to be so easy...in other words TRY HARD and don't be a slacker!! THANKS FRED :]

Dear Noelle, What a very, very special message to share in my guest book. My life has been one of success and failure. And what do we do with failure? We embrace it, learn from it, get creative and move on without dwelling in the past. Thank you. Fred

hey Fred,
I was very inspired by your book "Yes Pa." You had a tough childhood and I don't know if I could have gone through it with out yelling at my dad. I felt horrible for you when I heard that your dad lied to you like that and I think it is great that you can forgive your dad and help people at the same time. I hope that someday you could have a presentation at our school in Ohio. I just want to thank you for your inspiring words and sharing your life story with us

Fred Tuesday, September 30, 2008 12:32 PM
Hi Clay, My dad did lie to me. Maybe he loved me so much that he wanted to protect me from his gambling addicition. And, as you read, he taught me lessons that helped me to try to be the best I could be in anything I ever did. Thank you, thank you for your kind words. Fred

Dear fred,

Your book was very inspiring! It's too bad that your childhood happend on the truck. But, its good that you made the best of it. I love how your dad wanted you to do much better in life than he did. also i think it is very inspiring that you took care of your whole family.

thanks,
becca and cheyanne

Fred Tuesday, September 30, 2008 12:35 PM
Hi Becca and Cheyanne, Yup, my dad wanted the best from me. And just think...if I did not have my childhood prison, my life would have been much different and you know what? I wouldn't change any part of my life as a boy or as a man. Thanks to both of you. Fred

Dear Mr. Sarkis,

I wanted to let you know that i loved your book. I learned that you had a rough childhood and grew up to have a very great success story. I am also sorry about your father. my father has a smoking addiction and he is starting to sound sicker and sicker. Please visit our school and come talk to some of these kids, they could use it

Fred Tuesday, September 30, 2008 12:42 PM
Dear Mason, I would love to visit Tuslaw Middle School. But, I just can't keep up with so many talks but there is a video of my talk which your teacher can send for. Have your teacher e-mail me at YesPaCares@aol.com with a name, school, school address and number of kids who will be viewing it. I will say a prayer that your father can beat his smoking addiction. Tell him I said this and have him read Yes Pa. Fred

As I told you in my letter Yes Pa has made my grades go up and anyone who is reading this should read Yes Pa. And I totally agree with you Yes Pa should be required in every state.

Sincerly your friend Billy

Fred Tuesday, September 30, 2008 12:03 PM
Billy, I'm now 82 and I still have big goals. We now have over 250 schools in the US, Canada, Mexico and other countries where English is taught. And guess what, Yes Pa will soon be downloadable on this website in Spanish.
